Classified Connections 2025 has ended

Welcome to Classified Connections 2025!


Below you’ll find the schedule/options for each day. Each option has the Google Meet link included - once you’ve made your selections, you can access all your sessions from your schedule (click on the head icon on the left to go to your personal schedule)


TO SIGN UP: Sign in to Sched on the top right, or create an account if you haven’t made one before. This will pop up the registration information page - once you complete that you are signed up for the conference, and will be able to add sessions to your schedule. 


TO MAKE YOUR SCHEDULE: Make sure you are signed in to Sched. You’ll see white circles to the left of the session names - click on those to add those sessions to your schedule. Once you’ve made your selections, you can access all your sessions from your schedule (click on the head icon on the left to go to your personal schedule). Note that there is an opening keynote from our PPS Superintendent, Dr. Kimberlee Armstrong, that all attendees are invited to!

This workshop centers on the framework that all communication is cross-cultural and complex. Participants will explore how their own perceptions, filters, experiences, biases, and cultural norms/values influence their interpretation of behavior. Through personal and group reflections, the session will cover strategies and practices to more effectively respond and communicate with youth (and adults) whose behavior you find challenging.
Who Should Attend:
This session is designed for individuals seeking to broaden their understanding and enhance their skill set in communication and responding to challenging behavior, both in life and in the classroom.
